PINIONCOVER STEERING HOUSE

This steering rack pinion boot protects the pinion mechanism against dust, dirt and moisture. The boot fits the steering gear of the Citroën DS and helps retain lubrication of the internal components. By sealing the system, operating characteristics of the steering gear remain stable and unwanted wear and leakage are limited. The dimensions are matched to a diameter of around fifty five millimetres. The material is suitable for use in the engine bay and withstands normal operating conditions.
